Potential issues with postinst script
I’m getting reports that the new preinst script is returning:-
error: E: /var/cache/apt/archives/snowglobe_1.3.1-9_amd64.deb: subprocess new pre-installation script returned error exit status 10
I’ll investigate and see whats up, probably will mean a new release again for a trivial packaging issue.

Same error I was getting. I think I passed

I get the same error on i686 or a i386
machine it doesn’t matter.
Only on the snowglobe download. All
others such files download and install.
Thanks again for looking into it.

Ok, i’ll try to see what broke tonight, it worked on by debian test system, but i guess either its not working on debian stable and/or ubuntu systems. Its a PITA having to display a message to the user, i think i’ll hack the viewer to display a TOS message when they first start it up. As long as its is diplayed before the user has to enter any details or login i can’t see why that is not fine.

*sigh*
the 1.4 has been updated, looks like this was a regression of the previous bug where I did not copy the tvp licence template into the deb, as for some reason yet to be explained the deb helper files fail to do this or provide a way to wrap this for you. I’ve just tested on my system after deleting my previous accepted click through and it prompted me with the TVP screen before install so looking good again
